10 months old

Madelyn isn't crawling yet, but she has figured out how to push herself backwards. She got on the tile floor and figured she could go much easier than on the carpet (but it does give you cold hands and a cold belly).

Fall Fun and Halloween

Mom and Dad raked all the leaves in the yard and decided it made a great backdrop for pictures.
I hear that giraffes eat leaves, but I just like to play in them.

Melinda dressed up like Raggedy Anne--after she got the wig and make-up on, Madelyn cried and cried and cried. She eventually decided it was okay.

We took a trip to the pumpkin patch to find some nice pumpkins for Halloween. Adriana and Madelyn got to take a ride in the wagon.

Grandma Freidenberger got to come out over the weekend and see all her girls. She got to be part of the trip to the pumpkin patch.

Lake Tahoe trip

We took a trip to Lake Tahoe Oct. 9-15. We drove to Salt Lake City and then took a flight to Reno. We got to enjoy the area for a couple of days and then Michael attended a conference on real estate investing with his brother.

The first morning in Lake Tahoe we woke up to snow. This was our rental car--a neon green Dodge Charger with a hemi. Michael loved driving it!

Sears 9 month pictures

Madelyn will be 9 months on Sept. 30, so it was once again time to go back to Sears and have pictures taken.

Teeth

I have 2 teeth!! The first one poked through Sept. 3 and the second one came in Sept. 7. I've already figured out that I can bite mom and dad with them.
Madelyn liked playing with this blanket. The blanket was Melinda's when she was a baby.
Dad's ear is fun to play with.
We actually have some Saturdays off now, so we decided to take a trip up to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park.
